BSB » Brookes rules himself out of title hunt

BSB is an entertainment sport. Like him or not pretty much every year he's been in BSB he's provided a large portion of it in some form or other. He practically owns the Cadwell mountain, wiping out other riders, drifting it sideways, dropping it on warm up laps, wining in the wet, the dry, on a s**t bike... I think he's ticked most boxes. pretty sure he'll be going balls out for the last few races even if he cant win it. Look at the last 3 races at Brands in 2013. He went for it. blokes a racer, at least he's trying. The fact is the series will be poorer without him. the series needs a few more good riders with some character about them. Still best series in the world IMO

BSB » Kirkham replaces Hartley at Halsall Kawasaki

He didnt spit his dummy out. He was canned because of costs. I know of 3 big offs he had (Oulton Park warm up, Snetterton testing and Snetterton qualifying). They were all pretty massive and terminal for most of the bike if you look at the photos. You could say its harsh but if he carried on at that rate there wont be a team left by the end of Thruxton (and there are no small crashes on that track). no spares... I agree, they're scattered all over norfolk! big Jack is right. the kids too young and you need more experienced riders to do the business and attract sponsors. Martin Halsall unfortunately hasn't got a clue what he's doing. .. thinks "he knows best as he's a millionaire" attitude. makes stupid decisions about riders at the wrong time. I think Jack knows this too and ironically its Jacks reputation that will get a hammering if the team goes to hell. nobody will remember Halsall in years to come but Jack has more to lose. Get JK in and maybe salvage something.
