F1 » Todt: New electronics give McLaren advantage.

Everyone (including, dare I say, Jean Todt) seems to be missing the fact that this ECU contract was commissioned, approved and (I'm very sure) heavily scrutinised by the FIA. If there's a line of code in there that says 'if $team="mclaren" then #hp=#hp+100,' the entire contract would have been tossed out and awarded to someone else. Yes, the contract probably should have been awarded to a neutral third party. But it wasn't. McLarensoft got it fair and square. The upshot of all this is every team will have the same ECU with the same programming.
