Isn''t there a typo here - shouldn''t it read "Puig ruins Repsol Honda."

Rossi may have won 7 championships but Stoner has won a championship on a bike that Rossi cannot to date master. Stoner could stick the knife in and twist it all season unless Rossi can silence him by winning the championship. Fascinating!

It will interesting to see what Audi do to influence matters. If Ducati cant get the bike to improve, they will stop chucking money at it cos Rossi wont be here in 2013 and its not worth spending money on a bike which Rossi cant ride or or is not interested in riding. Which month will this be in ? Anyone wants to hazard a guess ?

Rossi needs to out-qualify and out race Hayden at each event. If he cant its not the bike but him.

If Rossi cant walk away from his contract cos it will cost him a fortune - perhaps he is waiting to be sacked. I expect much better from him given his team mate qualified 3rd!

I just love the optimism shown about Ducati and Rossi - "it will get better" - well it didnt in 2011 and at the start of the 2012 - they are nowhere near Yamaha and Honda.

Nutsome - Spies had a poor race yesterday - but his team mate won the race. Difference is Rossi is being paid a fortune for his ability to develop bikes and win races. Ducati spent a fortune developing the '12 bike last year and its still a dog. It will come to a head - just wait and see.

They had problems with liquids being spilt on the track at Brands Hatch in October last year if I remember correctly. They had one of those indistrial strength drying vehicles out and it caused delays. Think banning bikes from being picked up and reused is the right way to go. Fitting them with mercury switches which cut out when on their side would be the solution. Not going to be liked by some though.

I could see Ducati quitting Motogp at the end of 2012 and concentrating on WSBK with Penigale in 2013. They must have spent a fortune. I think Marlboro will have a say in decision.

To get a new competitive bike for 2013, Rossi has to sign a deal with an engine manufacturer. He's not best mates with Ducati and Yamaha and Honda are probably still sore about it. This is a big hurdle. Of course there is Suzuki - if they come back - but would they want Rossi breathing down their necks ?

Its going to end in tears. Cant see Rossi/Ducati seeing out the year. Ducati will bring in a test rider who will do equally bad but at a fraction of the cost of Rossi. As to the future, why would Yamaha or Honda want Rossi on one of their bikes ? I am sure they would veto it out of spite. Now Rossi on a 'suped-up' CRT bike in 2013 with an Aprilia engine might be interesting but I fear he could not live with a another year of being at the back. Or there is WSBK....
