MotoGP » Lorenzo takes 'one giant leap' towards MotoGP title

Mr Hyde - at the moment Jorge is dominant - looks head and shoulders above everyone else. Enjoy it - its good to see someone on top of his game. I don't buy this cr*p about a devalued championship - some people cannot come to terms with the fact that there is an alternative to Rossi. And if Lorenzo has learnt his craft from Rossi - what's new ? The master apprentice relationship has been going for hundreds of years

MotoGP » Dovizioso to be downgraded?

So if we are talking conspiracy theories about Rossi going to Ducati - why do Yamaha go to the trouble to allow him to test a superbike at Brno ? Presumably there is a lot of arm twisting to keep him in Yamaha in 2011 and this was done to keep him sweet. Have Yamaha set their heart on Lorenzo being world champ in 2010 and their no.1 in 2011? If so isn't there a risk of having Rossi back earlier he could take points off Lorenzo and let Pedrosa in as world champ or even take the crown himself ?

MotoGP » Lorenzo: This is very special

Domination by 1 rider is never good for the sport whether it is Rossi or Lorenzo. What is worrying for the sport is there are two ex-world champions (on the same bike) who cannot beat Jorge. Plus with Rossi out - the performance of the Yamaha doesn't look like its suffering. Bridgestone consider Lorenzo as the benchmark for assessing the performance of their tyres. Rossi needs to go to Ducati next year and sort out that bike.
