With the consistent showing of Edwards and Lorenzo - I expect we are going to see a number of Yamaha top 3 lock outs this year. Toseland needs to step up to the mark - Edward is having a blinder this year on a satellite bike. I hope we have a close championship - runaway victories are dull whether it is Stoner or Rossi. I am sure Lorenzo will have something to say when his legs repair! Does anyone know how long Lorenzo's contract with Yamaha is ? I am sure Honda would love to get him onto their bike for 2009 at the expense of Hayden who is totally lost !

Not sure about banning tyre warmers - from watching Champcar/Indycar for many years so many mistakes happen with cold tyres - even if the top drivers can get to grips with cold tyres - there will be back markers who will struggle and may even take out the front runners when being overtaken. And how long before traction control is back - Team A and B are caught using illegal software and the FIA decide that the only way to control it is to make it legal - we have been there before !!

It may be that the news is just a press release from Honda or from the US where Barrichello is an unknown. I cannot believe that Marco Andretti would go to F1 next year - he struggles in Indycar - he would totally out of his depth in F1 - like his dad Michael was in a Mclaren in 1993. Got to agree with Max - Rahal is far more mature - other than Champcar he's raced in A1GP as well
