Isn''t there a typo here - shouldn''t it read "Puig ruins Repsol Honda."

Haga ends nine-year wait for Assen repeat
2 agree.
2 disagree.
60 points can rapidly evaporate - Haga knows this. A Haga crash in race 1 and not racing in race 2 because of injuries with Spies winning both races and the gap is a mere 10 points.

Delight to despair for Spies
8 agree.
9 disagree.
Spies is getting into a win one bin one type of racing - like the Haga of old. He wont win championships doing this. Thought he was awesome in 1st race. The fact he is falling off when he never did in AMA just confirms that this is the first time in his racing career he is being tested. Great set of races for Leon - on a privateer bike !

Valencia WSBK - Race results (2).
Hopper - 1 time on a WSB spec bike - why is everyone writing him off already ? At least he stayed on it and brought it home. Stiggy - good little outfit and showing up Ten Kate ! Ben Spies - So now we know he can win races and also fall off his bike, He's human. He's probably also learnt that he has to really win his races - none of this sailing off into the sunset each race to pick up his medal. I still like him but never thought sun shone out of his a*se like some do. Haslem - was never impressed with him in BSB - but he has found something in WSB - best Brit Biaggi - if there was ever an inconsistent rider its Biaggi. Forget 3x250 champ - give his bike to someone who deserves it

Ben Spies excels in 'spare bike' Superpole.
If Spies wins the WSB championship - would he be good enough to win on a privateer Yamaha in Motogp against Rossi/Pedrosa etc ? He didn't win anything on a factory Suzuki in Motogp last year so why would he win on a Tech3 ? There are only 2 good Yamaha bikes in Motogp and both are taken. Spies should inherit Rossi's ride when he goes but when will that be ? Nowadays Motogp doesn't have the depth of field and the new rules looks like they have closed the door on rookies taking factory rides. Spies is going to have some serious thinking to do towards the end of this season about where is future lies - WSB or Motogp. Motogp is full of stories of underperforming ex WSB champ riders.

Vets Manning, Tagliani land late deals.
4 disagree.
This whole thing about teams swopping drivers between road and oval specialists really gets on my nerves. Why cant Mike Conway race at St Petes on Sunday - why is Manning doing it for him - what does this prove ? You need drivers who can do all types of circuits not pay drivers who dont know who how to turn right and have to be replaced at the road/street courses.....

Spies: I may not be leaving soon
1 agrees.
I think the new rules are ludicrous - if a factory team wants to introduce another factory bike and stick Spies on it - why shouldn't they ? What now constitutes a factory bike and where does this leave a factory if they decide to up their involvement mid season by supplying extra part. Lets say Spies is on a Tech3 and Rossi is performing poorly or is out injured. Could Spies' Tech3 get new parts faster than say Edwards without being classed as a factory bike? I think this is Dorna getting scared about WSB and the lack of bikes on the motogp grid
