Dario Franchitti

Dario Franchitti

Dario Franchitti is the grand old man of IndyCar these days, having been in US open wheel racing since 1997 and picked up four series championships and two Indy 500 victories along the way. At times this year he's looked under pressure and even rattled, and winning "only" four races all season may seem to be a disappointment, but he always minimised the gap between himself and chief rival Will Power - which is how he put himself into the points lead after Kentucky to clinch the title once more. But what about that moment when he tipped Will Power into a spin at Toronto, or his clumsy crash with Ryan Briscoe at Motegi?
