Do Brian France, Mike Helton and Jim Hunter and other top NASCAR officials take drug tests? It appears that from many of their decisions over the last few years that they appear "doped" up. I think the public has a right to know what drug appeared because it sure as hell makes Mayfield guilty without any hope of clearing his name.

Wrong, Jr. It's the fans who eventually make Nascar what it is. After all, remove the fans and what do you have left. No big, fat paycheck for you drivers, huh? The fan deserves to know.

JR is right on this one - really as adults do we need to be told what is wrong and right - that is what the real problem is. If you are using illegal drugs or performance enhancers you know it's wrong. You get caught - pay the piper. It's really nobody's business but those involved. If it was you in the same seat would it ok to tell the world - is that what you want at your job.

Can't say I agree. If NASCAR is going to besmirch someone's reputation they should have to say why. In America we are accustomed to hearing the charges leveled against us and being faced by our accusers. Why can't NASCAR provide Mr. Mayfield, or anyone so accused, for that matter, with the full facts of the case against them? Oh, I forgot, they just say "Hey, we're the dictator here, not you."

Nascar has made the parties involved aware of what they were found with - they just have not told the public - that is their policy. Mayfield knows what the test showed and he just disagrees with it. He should have a fair review with Nascar as everyone should - otherwise it's His business, not ours.
