Mmmm Chip's choices haven't been great lately... a has-been and now courting a wannabe at best...

Seriously... even Danica must be starting to realise the only reason any team owner etc is interested in her is for the sponsor dollars that follow her undeniably cute ****... she has a ****ty attitude and questionable driving ability, especially her ability to produce consistent results and to be successful in NASCAR you need good and consistent results

Just a fan: "cute ****"? Seriously? Try as I might I can't find anything attractive about her, and as a driver we all know she's pretty much useless. I can't really understand why all this buzz around her. Is it just because she's a woman? Because, quite frankly, she has nothing remarkable about her.

She is sitting 5th in the championship, that's better than 75% of te field. She has talent. With the added bonus of bring lots of publicity.

FooAtari - lets compare -

1) Dario Franchitti - 3 wins, 3 poles, 7 top 5's, 308 laps led
2) Scott Dixon - 3 wins, 0 poles, 7 top 5's, 397 laps led
3) Ryan Briscoe - 1 win, 2 poles, 7 top 5's, 516 laps led
4) Helio Castroneves - 2 wins, 1 pole, 6 top 5's, 158 laps led
5) Danica Patrick - 0 wins, 0 poles, 5 top 5's, 24 laps led

Not only isn't she winning she is rarely in a position to challenge for a win, and has only one podium so far this year

Even more damning is her career stats - 74 starts, 1 win, 3 poles and just 4 other podiums.

I guess you have a different gauge of what constitutes "talent"
