Jr. has got to get his head on straight and stop feeling he has a monkey on his back. A driver has to have the right equipment to get the job done but that doesn't mean he can just go out there and drive around and around. The driver has to give the crew chief the right feedback for adjustments and even make adjustments in his driving to accomidate the car conditions. Jr. needs to get his confidence back and start controlling his own destiny...quit depending on everyone else to do it for him!

It is time, to let what everyone else thinks go......... Dale you have what it takes stop worrying get out there and open your heart and let the desire that is in your heart fly. My husband will be at the race tonight, he loved your dad and feels that you are your own man. My husband's father was a crane operator and my husband became one of the best in the state. You have the heart to be as good or better than you father, get out there and go for it.

junior, your fans have all the faith in the world in you. We know you are disheartened, we can see it in your face, but we never give up on you, so dont give up on yourself. I know its alot harder on you, cuz your the one living constantly under the microscrope and the media scrutiny of your every move and I hate that part of your life for you. But you are your own man and your dad would be proud of you because of your sticktoitness. He went thru some rough times himself.Most of us think the commentators are a bunch of *****s anyway and media even more clueless. Keep your head up, Junebug , remember where you came from and remember how many people love you and pray for your protection.

This is a real shame! Jr. is crying out for help and his Dad is rolling in his grave listening to all this. It's a shame Jr. didn't learn how to lead from his father and I'm pretty sure Mr. Hendricks won't put up with this poor attitude and behavior much longer. This is a cry for help, and admittance of stupidity but I'm not sure anyone will answer the cry for help here. Jr. needs to find a mentor or get some coaching to help him in his career, or he will need to find a new one SOON! For his sanity I hope he finds strength somewhere soon.

Dale Jr, stop blaming everything and everyone and knuckle down and get some work done. You may want to quit smoking and start working out, that may help your race fitness and in turn your results.

This is how I see it Jr. needs to sit down shut up and just tell his crew chief what the car is doing and stop whining and trying to make the calls himself. If he wants to make calls on what to do with a cars setup he should apply for a new position....Crew Chief. He has talent but with the new cars you can't call the shots from the seat like on the old cars. I will tell you that Greats like Petty and Sr. would not have faired very well in these cars either...which is why you rely on an expert like a crew chief to make the calls for you. Jr. Relax do what you are there to do Drive and tell your cc what the car is doing not what to do.
