Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne is still hospitalised in Minnesota with a mystery illness, and is all but certain to miss a second straight Nationwide series race this weekend.

Hi Trevor. My husband had the same thing happen to him 3 years ago. He had a place on his arm that looked like a insect bite. He was treated with the antibiotic Vancamyacin(not sure exact spelling) anyway he had severe problems because of the antibiotic being given to him for so long. It wasn't pretty, but he finally pulled through. Don't know if this helps, but we know your frustration. It took a while for them to come to the conclusion that the cure almost killed him!!! Hope they get to the bottom of your problem soon and look forward to seeing you back at the track.

Hi Trevor, I agree with Diana. Often the "cure" causes severe side effects. Know how much you miss being at the track but please know how much you are missed by fans like me who are praying for you every day! Keep the faith. I'll be waiting with baited breath to pull for you to win the next race. For now, let's win this race for a healthy body. God Bless
