How did Kyle Bush get the pole for the Nationwide race at Darlington?
Qualifying was rained out and positions were based on owner points. Kyle Bush is a Sprint Cup driver and does not get points for participating in the Nationwide Races. Please explain this to me.

The car owner still scores full points regardless of whether or not the driver is eligible to receive driver points.

And with five victories in nine races, the #18 is unsurprisingly the runaway top-placed car in owner points. Hence, he's on pole.
