I thought that Nascar said Boys Have at it.If so why would a fist fight warrant a suspension and fine. NASCAR also said that the fines and suspensions were for actions detremintal to the sport. Now slamming a car into the wall and endangering others that should always be a heavy fine and heavy suspension. NASCAR does say it is for the safety of all involved in racing. If the fighting is so detremintal to the sport then should the different TV shows have to quit showing the allison tarborough fight along with any other fight? So if NASCAR is Boys Have at it. Then the only fine and suspension should be for slamming a driverless car into the wall.

NASCAR is turning racing into hockey - the worst part of hockey. This has got to stop. Media exposure at any cost? Might as well be PETA.

As much as I dislike Kyle, Harvick was the aggressor, pursued Kyle, left his vehicle in a dangerous place to block, and Kyle had a right to avoid getting punched out by Harvick. Penalties: Harvick $50k + suspension, Busch nothing.

Personally I think what Kyle did in the race was the worst part. That could have caused serious injury or worse to any number of drivers in the field and it was totally unnecessary. As for driving through Harvick's car, fine, he can't well be asked to stay and take the beating. Harvick was wrong to go after him of course but a punch through the window really is pretty harmless compared to what an intentional race wreck could lead to.

Totally agree about the hockey comment though, and not liking it one bit.

What would have happened if harvicks car had crush someone against the pit wall, that was my only concern, watching 2 racers go at it with there helmets on is quite funny, even though bush chicken out

Saying it for years...
NASCAR is just entertainment, nothing else...
And it sells, doesn't it?
Whatever sells...that's NASCAR's elevator pitch.

Bring back the TransAm series that raced back in the 70's ... now we're talking...
