Danica Patrick continued to be swamped with questions about her future plans at the Nationwide event in Chicago last weekend: and not just about her mooted NASCAR switch.

At least she does not want Bloody kids (sensible - enough of the screaming blighters in the world already without another bird saying she HAS to have one).

Mind like Vasser says she is no Gearhead and does not really understand what goes on under the skin of the car.

She is utterly useless on a proper racetrack (i.e. a road course as the yanks love to say), so she might be ok at the Ovals of Nascar - but lets be honest she ain't gonna ever win. If Montoya struggle she has about as much chance as Wining the Indy Driver Title, i.e. less that ****** all.

Only here cos of her (Go)Daddy.

Go to Nascrap already! If Katherine Legge comes back to Indy Car, as speculated, in the next few races, Danica will get bumped to the 3rd best female driver. I bet she misses having Milka Duno around to make her look good.

I don't know which is worse, that she hasn't lived up to the hype or that she is going to be even worse off in NASCAR. The NASCAR crowd won't coddle to her tantrums and lack of pace. Would love ot see her try and go toe to toe with one of the good ole boys... LOL.

Bottom line she has well wron out the welcome mat in Indy, there are simply no more teams she can blame for her lack of victories. There will always be a team for her since sponsors love her, as a model 1st and driver second, same will happen in NASCAR. I wish S. Fischer had been given such a shot. Shame on teams like Andretti racing for passing over someone as talented but not as pretty apparently...

The only responses I see to articles about Danica seem to come from people who don't like her for some reason or are mad that she might be leaving for NASCAR. What would those who dismiss her success as a driver have to say about the 20 plus people who routinely finish behind her at Indy, or in the points standings? Are they all unqualified to be part of the series? (These same race fans are already predicting failure for Danica in NASCAR even though she seems to be getting the hang of the Nationwide series quite nicely.)

Finally,if we respect only the champions of this sport like Schumacher, Alonzo, Franchitti, Edwards and Earnhardt, we are overlooking a lot of immensely talented drivers who provide the competition. Last time I checked, Danica was one of those drivers.

@BigDave
Danica kicked tail around Brands Hatch back in 2000 nearly winning the Ford Festival. She came from 9th on the grid to finish second and only .4 behind Anthony Davidson. I think that speaks volumes as to her talent. She beat many accomplished racers that day.
