A new approach to drying tracks after wet weather could slash rain delays by as much as 80 per cent, NASCAR estimated in a major pre-season announcement on Wednesday.

Sour grapes on their part. If it raining cats and dogs (so-to-speak) on the day, what do they do? Its always the norm to wait till its back to normal, in other words till there is a dry track!
