First I'd like to thank for their informative update on the race and the final results. I must add that I'm very dissappointed in for having the worst web site on the web. 3 hrs after the race and I could not find anything about the injuries of the fans or the final results. I watch the race so I knew no drivers were hurt but as an avid fan I was very concerned about the fans.

The Daytona 500 is tomorrow (Sunday), this was the Nationwide race and it took place today (Saturday).

The Nationwide cars are similar to the Nextel Cup cars that race in the Daytona 500. The Nationwide series is sort of a feeder series to the main Nextel series.

There is also a truck series, the Camping World series, and they had a race Friday night at the same track.

My comment concerns the use of wire rope clamps!

Why do they install the cable clamps with they live side of the cable having the u-bolt and the saddle side on the other side? With the industry standard using the saddle on the live side not crushing it ? That is considered incorrect, I believe because the saying goes you never saddle a dead horse.
