Just want to say well done to Danica, a real shame that she did'nt finish higher up the order, but the point has been proven in my opinion, she deserves to be in there, and i'm sure that this result has been a big learning curve for her, and will stand her in good stead to further her career, once again, well done, the girl did good!

They should call this race the Daytona 50 not 500, its the worst 500 Ive ever watched, its follow the leader for 90% of the race. If you get out of line, you go to the back of the pack, thats not racing NASCAR wake up, do something , get racers racing or youll lose,Id rather watch curling.

NASCAR is missing something. It's the guys that really like to race. Guys like Bodine, Allison, Earnhardt, Petty, Yarbourgh. Guys from the past. Sure there gone now but if NASCAR don't step up, so will the sport. They gotta make those guys wanna race. Give points for laps led that'll make race. And then racing will be just that ...RACING !!

I'm not a specialist but watching a bit of the Daytona 500, I really wonder what's the interest of having 500 miles races except that it sort of builds a stake.

There should be several shorter races since in the end, it's the final sprint that matters.
