    25 June 2006: Cup driver BRIAN VICKERS/#17 GMAC Chevrolet won the exciting NASCAR Grand National Division, Autozone West Series Blue Lizard Australian Suncream 200. He started and finished first, and led all but three laps, only falling back during pit stops. His Margin of Victory was 1.429 seconds ahead of Cup driver, BORIS SAID/#57 Pacific States Ford.

    24 June 2006: ROBBY GORDON/#7 Menards/Energizer Chevrolet was the fastest driver Saturday morning for the first of two practice sessions at Infineon Raceway. Gordon turned a 77.472/92.472 mph lap. Early fastest was TONY STEWART/#20 Home Depot Chevrolet, but Gordon led most of the 45-minute session. The weather was in the mid seventies with a nice breeze - no where near the scorcher predicted earlier.

    24 June 2006: KURT BUSCH/#2 Miller Lite Dodge has the pole for Sunday's NASCAR Nextel Cup Dodge/Save Mart 350 race at Infineon Raceway with a lap of 76.987/93.055 mph. This is his fifth pole in 200 Cup races. The Qualifying Track Record is still held by JEFF GORDON/#24 Dupont, whose 2005 lap was 75.950/94.325 mph. Gordon qualified eleventh.

    23 June 2006: JEFF GORDON/#24 Dupont Chevrolet showed Friday that has a more than good chance of winning his fifth NASCAR Nextel Cup race at Infineon raceway when he was fastest in 90 degree F weather, with a time of 76.575/93.555 mph. He turned the lap on his sixth of six laps at the 1.99-mile elevated road course in the Northern California wine country.

    14 November 2005: Rookie KYLE BUSCH came from fifteenth place on the grid to win his second NASCAR Nextel Cup race Sunday afternoon at Phoenix International Raceway in the Checker Auto Parts 500 race. The RICK HENDRICK driver swapped the lead with dominant GREG BIFFLE who led four times for 189 laps and turned the fastest lap of 131.109 mph on Lap 120 of the 312-lap race. Busch led three times for 63 laps.
