John Andretti will drive the #34 Window World Earnhardt Ganassi Racing Chevrolet in the season-opening Sprint Cup Series Daytona 500, as Geoff Bodine attempts to make his first Cup start since 2004.

Andretti will have a technical alliance that partners himself and Front Row Motorsports owner Bob Jenkins with EGR for Daytona and beyond, FOX Sports.com reports.

Meanwhile, 1986 Daytona 500 winner Bodine will be behind the wheel of the #64 Gunselman Motorsports Toyota. The 59-year-old will share the car with his brother Todd throughout the season.

"We're unsponsored right now," admitted team owner Larry Gunselman, "but we have some key individuals helping us get the funding we need to compete on a larger basis.

"To see Geoff in the shop working on the car, in the car and interacting with the guys has been great. He won't let on, but I think he's getting more and more excited as time draws near for Daytona."
