Rain and approaching severe weather forced NASCAR to suspend the O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 Camping World Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway early Saturday night.

The race, which began shortly after six o'clock in the evening, after the IndyCar Series had run its qualifying session, went under caution twice for rain, before eventually being red-flagged at 6.55pm. With a tornado touching down approximately 30 miles to the west, the decision was made to suspend the race until 11am local time Monday.

With 52 of 167 laps complete, Mike Skinner is the leader, followed by Brian Ickler, Matt Crafton, Ron Hornaday Jr. and Brian Scott.
