Busch: Full Nationwide schedule unlikely

As Kyle Busch competes for championships in both the Cup and Nationwide Series this season, the commute between Infineon Raceway and the Milwaukee Mile in Wisconsin is one of the most demanding.

Busch doesn't expect to have many such difficult weekends in 2010.

He currently leads the Nationwide standings by 137 points over Carl Edwards, and if he wins the title this season, it's a safe bet Busch won't be back full-time in a Nationwide car next year.

"If I can win the Nationwide championship, that's all I wanted to do," Busch said. "It was just to get a championship, and next year I'll probably scale back, because I'd like to give more opportunity to younger drivers - Brian Ickler being one of those.

"I feel like if we can get the sponsorship commitments - to have sponsors come on and sponsor myself and Brian - then I'd like to get Brian in there."

Ickler, 23, from San Diego, has teamed with Busch in Billy Ballew's Camping World Truck Series entries. He won the pole for last Saturday's truck race at Michigan and finished third.
