Despite running only 15 of 18 Nationwide Series races this season, Joey Logano is fifth in the series standings, 536 points behind leader and Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Kyle Busch.

But don't expect him to rethink his schedule for the rest of the season, even though the idea might be tempting given his standing in the points. Logano will miss the next three events, at Gateway International Raceway (St. Louis), O'Reilly Raceway Park (Indianapolis) and Iowa Speedway as he concentrates on his Sprint Cup effort in the #20 Toyota.

"The next three races I'm missing, and I'm really bummed out about that," Logano said after collecting his third win of the season in Friday night's Dollar General 300 at Chicagoland Speedway, "At this point, knowing where I am in points and how we've been running all year, I wish I'd run the whole season, but... oh, well.

"It's too late now. We'll just keep having fun and getting these wins."
