Jay Guy will be the crew chief for Brad Keselowski's #12 Sprint Cup Series team, Penske Racing announced earlier this week.

Guy most recently worked as the crew chief on the #78 Furniture Row Racing car driven by Regan Smith. Guy also has been a crew chief in the Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series.

Keselowski begins his first full season in the Cup series in 2010 after starting 17 races the past two seasons. Paul Wolfe will be Keselowski's crew chief in the Nationwide Series.

"Both Jay and Paul have a lot of experience throughout all levels of motorsports competition, and they each seem to get the most out of the teams and drivers that they work with," Keselowski said. "I'm really looking forward to working with Jay next season in my first full season of Cup series competition. We are also excited to race for the Nationwide Series title with Paul."

Keselowski has finished third in the Nationwide Series the past two seasons, driving for JR Motorsports.

"I am really excited to join Penske Racing, and I'm looking forward to the opportunities that lie ahead with the #12 Penske Dodge team," Guy continued. "Brad is one of the most talented drivers in NASCAR, and we will work together to develop his skills and make this team the best it can be."

Keselowski drove for three teams in the Cup series in 2009 - Hendrick Motorsports, Phoenix Racing and Penske. He posted one win and four top 10s. His victory, at Talladega in April, came in his fifth Cup start.

Keselowski replaces David Stremme in the #12. Roy McCauley, who was crew chief for the past four years with the team, will remain with the organisation and assume a leadership role. Keselowski will drive the #22 in the Nationwide Series.

Wolfe, 32, a former driver in the Nationwide Series, completed his fourth season as a crew chief this year, working with the Nationwide CJM Racing entry with seven drivers, among them Scott Lagasse Jr., Denny Hamlin and Mike Bliss.

"The chance to work with Penske Racing and a driver as skilled as Brad is a tremendous opportunity," Wolfe added.
