Jeb Burton - Jeff Burton's 19-year-old nephew, and the son of 2002 Daytona 500 champion Ward Burton - was also caught up in the fallout. Burton had made an impressive start to his Truck Series career, claiming seventh place in his very first qualifying session and going on to clinch a creditable 13th place in the final positions, comfortably still on the lead lap despite that late accident.
In the points standings, John King still leads after retaining ninth place to add to his upset win in the series opener at Daytona in February. He's just one point ahead of both Timothy Peters and Justin Lofton, while Ty Dillon shoots up four places to fourth on the back of his second place at Martinsville this weekend.
