Chad Knaus looks to the Chase - VIDEO

Chad Knaus, crew chief on Jimmie Johnson's #48 Chevrolet, looks ahead to the 2013 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup championship title.
Since Chad Knaus teamed up with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rookie Jimmie Johnson in 2002, the #48 Lowes Chevrolet has amassed 64 race wins, 31 poles and 5 Cup championships.

The 42-year-old from Rockford, Illinois has become the benchmark amongst crew chiefs.

A few personnel changes on the #48 Team didn't affect their progress with the new Gen 6 racecar as Johnson took the chequered flag at the season opener – the Daytona 500.

Three further wins have kept the #48 Lowes at the top of the leaderboard for much of the season and after narrowly missing out on the title for the last two years, Knaus is keen to ensure that his crew ends up on top – stating in the latest Mobil 1 – The Grid video that his driver is better than he's ever been…
