The complete schedules for the 2015 Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series championships have been unveiled by NASCAR.

While there are no major changes to the schedules - and crucially, no alterations to the ten-race Chase play-offs for the Cup championship - the sanctioning body has taken the opportunity to fine-tune a number of events in all three series.

At Cup level, the historic Southern 500 race at Darlington Raceway has been moved back to the September date it held for 53 years from 1950 to 2003 and will now once again be held on the Labor Day holiday weekend. Darlington's current April spot will now be taken be filled by the first race of the year at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Atlanta Motor Speedway, which has held the Labor Day weekend spot since 2010, will instead now host the year's second Cup race of the year at the start of March following the traditional curtain-raising Daytona 500. That precedes a three-week stint on the west coast in Las Vegas, Phoenix and California that will allow teams to avoid criss-crossing the country for events.

Elsewhere the second Daytona race of the year, the Coke Zero 400, will be moved from its traditional Saturday night spot to the Sunday instead in order to avoid a clash with July 4 celebrations. The event is expected to return to Saturday night on Independence Day weekend for the 2016 season.

The Nationwide Series schedule has been adjusted to fit in with the changes with the corresponding Cup venues, and also moves its Road America stand-along event from June to the end of August. That puts the event on a week off for the Cup series, and on the same weekend that the Truck Series heads to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Ontario.

The Truck Series will expand from 22 to 23 races next season, with the addition of an early season visit to Atlanta after a two-year absence for the circuit from the line-up.
