With these extreme sanctions, they should at least have some form of hearing of the teams competitors to see what they think about it. If they feel they didn't get cheated then the penalty can be much less. Tempering with a fuel tank is much more serieus than the rod being too light because it may be a safety issue, although each case must be looked at individualy (who knows in this case they might have made it safer!). Unless the altered it to hold more fuel ofcourse..
