In an event dominated by two-car drafting on the newly resurfaced Daytona International Speedway circuit, Kurt Busch came in second behind Denny Hamlin but was promoted to the win after Denny Hamlin was penalised for dropping down below the yellow out-of-bounds line on the final turns in his attempt to pass Ryan Newman.
