Jeff Byrd 500 - Race results

Kyle Busch achieved another clean-sweep of NASCAR series races in one weekend with victory in the Sprint CUp at Bristol Motor Speedway to go with his earlier Nationwide and Truck wins.
Kyle Busch needed to bounce back from a difficult "home event" at Las Vegas two weeks ago - which saw his championship position take a battering after an early accident and exit from the race. And he couldn't have asked for a better place to recover at than Bristol Motor Speedway, one of his favourite and most successful venues.

Kyle took the lead after pit stops on lap 429 and proceeded to hold off Carl Edwards and Jimmie Johnson to win his second weekend sweep of NASCAR series events in a row at Bristol. It's Kyle's 20th Sprint Cup career win and his first of the 2011 season, and gives his Sprint Cup standing an eight place rebound back up to 6th spot, while his brother Kurt takes over the early lead for the Chase.

Edwards continued his strong early-season momentum with his second second-place of the four-race-old season, while Johnson will be happy to be getting back to his old championship-winning form as well.
