Cup - Dover - Qualifying times

Martin Truex Jr. took pole position ahead of Kurt Busch for the AA400 at Dover International Speedway, the third race of the 2011 Chase for the Sprint Cup championship.
Michael Waltrip Racing's Martin Truex Jr. claimed pole position for the AAA 400 Sprint Cup race with a time of 22.641s on the 1-mile oval Dover International Speedway.

It's Truex's sixth career pole and his first since May 2010, which was also here at Dover. Dover also saw his sole Cup victory to date, in 2007. Truex is not in the Chase but the man starting alongside him on the front row is. Penske Racing's Kurt Busch was pipped to pole by Truex by just 0.003s.

Mike Skinner was the only driver to fail to qualify for the 43-car grid after hitting the wall during his run. The race is at 2pm local time and in the UK is shown on satellite subscription channel Premier Sports TV.
