Cup - Texas - Qualifying times

Greg Biffle took pole position at Texas Motor Speedway during qualifying on Friday evening, putting him alongside Roush Fenway team mate David Ragan for Sunday's Cup race.
Greg Biffle was a single thousandth of a second ahead of Roush Fenway team mate David Ragan in qualifying for Sunday's AAA Texas 500 Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway, but it was enough to decide pole position.

It's Biffle's ninth Cup pole in 328 races - his third in 2011 alone - and his first at Texas. Biffle also topped the earlier Friday afternoon practice session.

Another RFR driver, Matt Kenseth, will start from third position, but the fourth member of the squad - championship leader Carl Edwards - could only manage seventh place, putting him alongside Brad Keselowski but one row behind chief title rival Tony Stewart who starts from fifth.
