Nationwide - Texas - Race results

Trevor Bayne took his first Nationwide Series race win at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon, finishing just ahead of Kyle Busch's stand-in Denny Hamlin.
It seems a long time ago that Trevor Bayne won the Daytona 500 that opened the 2011 NASCAR season. Despite that early Cup success he opted to stick with Nationwide, and he was finally rewarded for that decision with his maiden series win in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge in Texas.

Bayne got around his Roush Fenway team mate Carl Edwards at the final restart and held off Denny Hamlin - a late substitute for the suspended Kyle Busch - to the chequered flag.
