Nationwide - Homestead - Race results

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was confirmed as the 2011 Nationwide Series champion at Homestead-Miami, after finishing second in the Ford 300 to outgoing champion Brad Keselowski.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. won the 2011 Nationwide Series championship as early as lap 28, after early retirements meant that he was assured of the 37th-or-better placed finish that he needed to put himself out of reach of his only remaining contender in the points standings, Elliott Sadler.

Freed from his need to put safety first, Stenhouse then went on to mount a strong challenge for the race win against his immediate processor as Nationwide champion Brad Keselowski, but ultimately had to end up in second just ahead of his own Roush Fenway Racing team mate Carl Edwards in third and Clint Bowyer in fourth.

It's Keselowski's seventh victory of the season, and 23rd overall, for Penske Racing. He's won three of the last seven Nationwide races.
