Nationwide - Phoenix - Qualifying times

Denny Hamlin claimed pole position for the Bashas' Supermarkets 200 at Phoenix International Raceway, the second race of the 2012 Nationwide Series season.
Denny Hamlin will start from pole position for Saturday evening's Bashas' Supermarkets 200 Nationwide Series race at Phoenix International Raceway, after posting a time of 27.072s (132.979 mph) on the one mile tri-oval track.

It's Hamlin's 16th pole in 130 NASCAR Nationwide Series races, and his third pole in ten races at Phoenix.

He'll start alongside current Nationwide Series champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr., with Kenny Wallace and Kasey Kahne making up the second row of the grid for the race. Austin Dillon (ninth) was the fastest qualifying rookie with a lap of 27.289s (131.921mph.)

Danica Patrick will start from 30th position after setting a laptime of 28.347s (126.998 mph). The only driver not to qualify for the 43-car grid was Jennifer Jo Cobb.
