Cup - Bristol - Qualifying times

Greg Biffle took pole position for Sunday's Food City 500 Sprint Cup race at Bristol Motor Speedway by just one thousandth of a second over AJ Allmendinger.
Greg Biffle won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 52nd Annual Food City 500 with a lap of 15.324s (125.215 mph) on Friday afternoon.

It's Biffle's 10th pole in 334 Cup races, but his first at Bristol in 19 races at the half-mile oval.

His time was just 0.001s ahead of AJ Allmendinger, who will line up alongside Biffle for the start of Sunday's race. Ryan Newman and Jeff Gordon form the second row of the grid, with Brad Keselowski and Regan Smith behind them on the third row.

Rookie Timmy Hill was the only driver not to make the 43-car grid, after Robby Gordon earlier withdrew with technical problems with the new electronic fuel injection system.
