Cup - Texas - Qualifying times

Martin Truex Jr. will start Saturday night's Samsung Mobile 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway from pole position, alongside Matt Kenseth.
Martin Truex Jr. claimed pole position for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Samsung Mobile 500 race with a lap of 28.366s (190.369mph) on the 1.5-mile oval Texas Motor Speedway, just 0.033s ahead of Matt Kenseth.

It's Truex's seventh pole position in 232 Cup race starts, and his second in 14 races at Texas Motorspeedway after previously having been on pole here in November 2007. The pole position means that Truex is now in next year's Shootout event at Daytona Speedweek 2013.

Greg Biffle and Mark Martin will start from the second row of the grid, while Kasey Kahne and Ryan Newman took control of the third row.
