Cup - Kansas - Qualifying times

AJ Allmendinger took his first pole position for Penske Racing at Kansas Speedway on Saturday, ahead of Sunday afternoon's STP 400 Sprint Cup race.
AJ Allmendinger will start Sunday's STP 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race from pole position on the 1.5-mile Kansas Speedway D-shaped oval track.

It's Allmendinger's second pole in 160 starts and the first since his switch to Penske Racing, replacing Kurt Busch in the team at the start of the season.

Allmendinger's time of 30.683s (175.993mph) was 0.043s ahead of Kevin harvick, who will start alongside him on the front row of the grid.
