NASCAR » Cup - Richmond - Race results

Kyle Busch found his way back to victory lane after a 22-race winless run, and doing it at one of his favourite and most enduringly successful tracks - Richmond.
Kyle Busch won the Capital City 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday evening, his 24th victory in 266 series starts and his first win of 2012.

It's his fourth victory - and 13th top ten finish - in 15 races at Richmond alone, and his run of four consecutive spring race wins at the venue breaks a tie for the previous longest winning streak here previously shared with Richard Petty who won his hattrick in the early 70s.

Busch won the race by a margin of just over a second from Dale Earnhardt Jr., who posted his seventh top ten finish of the nine races of the year so far with his second place.
