NASCAR » Cup - Talladega - Race results

Brad Keselowski out-witted Kyle Busch on the final corner of Talladega Superspeedway to win Sunday's Aaron's 499 Cup race in a green-white-chequered finish.
Brad Keselowski won the Aaron's 499 NSCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday afternoon at Taladega Superspeedway, his sixth victory in 99 series starts and his second at Talladega in seven races on the 2.666-mile tri-oval.

It's his second victory of 2012, which puts him into a very early strong position for making the Chase for the Sprint Cup on the 'most wins' wild card alone.

Greg Biffle continues to lead the Sprint Cup championship standings, with Matt Kenseth, Kyle Busch, Clint Bowyer, Jamie McMurray, Jeff Burton, Kasey Kahne and Aric Almirola all moving up after strong superspeedway performances. Hit by early retirements were Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, Jeff Gordon and Ryan Newman.
