NASCAR » Cup: Kentucky - Race results

Brad Keselowski won the Quaker State 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup evening race at Kentucky Speedway on Saturday by a margin of 4.399s over Kasey Kahne.
Brad Keselowski was back in victory lane in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series this weekend, with his seventh win. He saw off a late charge from Kasey Kahne who had passed Denny Hamlin for second place in the final laps.

Keselowski overcame a spat in practice on Friday with Juan Montoya at Kentucky Speedway and a switch to his backup car to qualify in eighth place and eventually lead for 68 of the 267 laps of the Quaker State 400.

It's Keselowski's seventh victory in 106 series starts and his third of 2012. It's the first time he's won a Cup race on the 1.5-mile D-shaped tri-oval at Kentucky in two starts here.

Matt Kenseth continues to lead the Cup championship standings by 11pts over Dale Earnhardt Jr.

we had an awesome time. Couldnt get int he race last year due to traffic. My 10 year old son is into racing, were a speed family anyway. It was a bit long for my son but what fun. the sound of the cars coming at the start line is aggressive yet sultry, yes im a woman. we had a lot of fun, chilln and got home exhausted. My son swears he will be driving one of these cars when he gets of age, all i can say is U GO BOY. CONTRAZ BRAD, U GO BOY TOO!!!
