Trucks: Chicagoland - Race results

James Buescher won the Saturday night American Ethanol NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Chicagoland Speedway - despite needing a mid-race carburettor change.
James Buescher won the Saturday night American Ethanol 225 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race under the floodlights at Chicacgoland Speedway. It was Buescher's third win of the year and in 82 series starts, the first time that he has been to victory lane at Chicagoland.

Buescher finished 0.247s ahead of Brendan Gaughan, who led the majority of the race with 83 of the 150 laps out in front.

Timothy Peters extends his lead in the championship with a third place, putting him 23pts ahead of Ty Dillon in the standings.

Earlier, Justin Lofton won pole position with a time of 31.007s (174.154mph) on the 1.5 miles tri-oval speedway. It was Lofton's first pole position in 60 series starts, although he led the field to green at Texas Motor Speedway last month after qualifying was rained off and the starting order set by car owner points. Mike Harmon and Chris Lafferty failed to qualify for the 225-mile race.

Lofton had also topped the first practice session with a lap of 31.011s (174.132 mph) but was only third fastest in the second practice behind Matt Crafton (31.032s, 174.014 mph) and Joey Coulter.
