Nationwide: Dover - Race results

Joey Logano dominated the OneMain Financial 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Dover International Speedway, leading 184 of the 200 laps to complete a 2012 sweep at the Monter Mile.
Joey Logano won his second Nationwide Series race at Dover International Speedway in 2012 to complete a season sweep at the Monster Mile and his 16th win in his 105th series start and his seventh of 2012. He did so by once again dominating the race, leading 184 laps compared with his previous best of 154 laps, which was also here at Dover in the sprint.

His win in Saturday's OneMain Financial 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race gives Joe Gibbs Racing its 75th Nationwide win and its seventh at Dover, the most of all the teams. Its seven wins in 2012 puts it equal with Richard Childress Racing this season.

Earlier on Saturday, Darrell Wallace Jr. won pole position for the Saturday afternoon race with a lap of 23.091s (155.905 mph) on the one-mile oval, the 18-year-old's first Nationwide pole in the four races that he's started in the series since his d├ębut at Iowa in May this year. His time was 0.129s ahead of Justin Allgaier, while Cup regular Logano had lined up on the second row alongside current championship leader Elliott Sadler.

Austin Dillon topped the sole practice session held on Friday with a lap of 23.485s (153.289 mph) putting him 0.119s ahead of Sam Hornish Jr.

Following the race, Sadler's lead in the championship is up to 9pts over Ricky Stenhouse Jr. with Austin Dillon also still in the running for the 2012 title albeit 25pts off Sadler with five races remaining.
