Trucks: Martinsville - Race results

Denny Hamlin won the Kroger 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Saturday afternoon at Martinsville Speedway.
Denny Hamlin won his first victory in 2012 in a Camping World Truck Series race, finishing almost two seconds clear of Nelson Piquet Jr. at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday.

It's Hamlin's second race win in just 15 series starts, and he becomes the 14th different winner in the 19 races so far this season - matching a series record set in 1998 and 2005.

Timothy Peters earlier claimed pole position for the race with a lap of 19.641s (96.411mph) on the half-mile oval, his second pole of the year and his sixth in 137 series starts. Matt Crafton and Denny Hamlin had topped the two earlier practice sessions.

There was a late-race disaster for series rookie Ty Dillon, who suffered a tyre blow0out and ended up in the wall on lap 152 which meant that he ended up classified in 28th place. That costs him the lead of the championship points standings, with James Buescher now in the lead by 21pts with just three races remaining in the 2012 season.
