Trucks: Texas - Race results

Johnny Sauter won the Winstar World Casino 350 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday night, beating Parker Kligerman by two seconds.
Johnny Sauter won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race under the floodlights at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday night, his sixth victory in 106 series starts and his second of the season. He previously won the series' earlier visit to Texas in 2012.

Nelson Piquet Jr. had claimed pole position for the Winstar World Casino 350 earlier on Friday, with his lap of 29.959s (180.246mph) just good enough for his third pole position in 50 Truck starts by a slender 0.049s over James Buescher, who joined Piquet on the front row for the start of the Friday evening race. Chris Fontaine and Blake Koch had failed to qualify for the grid.

Piquet also topped both practice sessions held on Thursday. In the first session he posted a lap time of 29.740s (181.574 mph) to edge Parker Kligerman by 0.138s, while in the later session he improved to 29.652s (182.113 mph) to finish 0.146s ahead of Miguel Paludo.

James Buescher continues to lead the point standings, now by 15 points over Ty Dillon.
