Las Vegas - Cup practice - March 7

Greg Biffle topped the timesheets in Thursday afternoon's practice session ahead of this weekend's Kobalt Tools 400 Sprint Cup race.
Greg Biffle's lap of 28.507s (189.427mph) was the fastest of any of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers participating in practice at the Los Vegas Motor Speedway on Thursday.

The practice session was a significant one as as it's the first time that the new Genertion-6 cars have run at a 1.5-mile intermediate track since their introduction at the start of 2013.

Matt Kenseth topped the earlier session of the day with a time of 28.816s (187.396mph).
