Pocono: Cup results

Jimmie Johnson won the 'Party in the Poconos 400' NASCAR Sprint Cup race at the unique Pocono tri-oval on Sunday afternoon, by over a second from Greg Biffle.
Jimmie Johnson is looking in ominously strong form very early on in the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup season, after claiming his third win of the year with victory in Pocono, which is his 63rd victory in 413 series races.

Johnson led for 128 of the 160 laps of the race, the highest single-race total of his 23 starts at Pocono career. He has extended his lead in the championship standings to 51pts over Carl Edwards in second.
