Michigan: Cup results

Greg Biffle rose to the lead of the Quicken Loans 400 on Sunday with 50 of the 200 laps to go, and once there he refused to be dislodged before the chequered flag came out.
Greg Biffle emerged victorious in the Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday, his 19th victory in 381 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.

It's his first win in 2013 and his fourth career victory at Michigan in 21 starts at the two-mile superspeedway. His win this weekend for Roush Fenway Racing also represents Ford Motor Company's 1000th win in the three national level stock car championships (Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Truck.)

Biffle finished almost three seconds ahead of Kevin Harvick, after a late pursuit by Jimmie Johnson ended with the #48 hitting the wall. That sent the car to the garage for the remainder of the race and meant Johnson finished in 28th position in the final classified results, costing him a chunk of his lead in the Cup standings: he now leads by 31 points from Carl Edwards.
