Qualifying times: EA Sports 500.

Joe Nemechek lived up to his Talladega 'front row Joe' nickname by earning his first pole position of the NASCAR Nextel Cup season, but his third at the awesome superspeedway. His #01 US Army Chevrolet will start at the front of the grid for the EA Sports 500 while more surprising is the other front row occupant, Ricky Rudd, in the #21 Motorcraft/Rent-A-Center Ford.

The second row belongs to veteran Dale Jarrett and rookie Scott Riggs, while championship leader Jeff Gordon starts on the inside of the third row, nearest rival Kurt Busch five spots further back. The EA Sports 500 takes the green flag at around 1.30pm Eastern Time on Sunday, that's 6.30pm in the UK. Check back to crash.net for a full report.
