Lewis Hamilton (GBR) McLaren MP4/22, Brazilian F1, Interlagos, 19th-21st, October, 2007

In the wake of the racist abuse directed at McLaren star Lewis Hamilton during testing in Barcelona at the weekend, the British Government has questioned whether Spain should continue to be allowed to host a grand prix in the country.

Moreover, the sport's governing body - the FIA - has warned serious consequences will be faced should any such incidents be repeated in future.
