Melandri, Gibernau lead, Start, Turkish MotoGP, 2005

Formula One almost went down to the wire, MotoGP briefly showed some signs of competition for Valentino Rossi, GP2 entertained right the way to its final double-header, the IRL and Champ Car both produced variety despite also producing seemingly obvious champions, and the WSBK became more exciting as the year wore on, but what will be the case next year?
